The background of MELS and E-Learn Dot Com Sdn.Bhd.

E-Learn Dot Com had a humble beginning in 1997 as a children's computer course provider. E-Learn Dot Com Malaysia was incorporated in 2002. Since then the company has contributed tremendously to schools, learning centres and kindergartens in Malaysia by providing e-learning initiatives and solutions with excellent quality products and services.

E-Learn Dot Com, received certification to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System(QSM).ISO 9001:2000 certification denotes that E-Learn Dot Com is compliant to the International Standards Organization (ISO) quality management systems and has demonstrated its ability to consistently provide products that aim to enhance customer satisfaction and quality educational software for children. The mainstream activities of the company are in e-learning initiatives, learning programmes and book publishing.

We provide software, learning materials and programmes for kindergartens, primary school web-based learning system (subject-based), multimedia teaching solutions, thematic learning soft ware for children, materials for schools and kindergartens in English, Mathematics, Science, Morals, Art, Chinese and online learning programmes.

How to be a part of our MELS Learning System Licensee network?

• If you are interested in applying for a license to start a MELS Learning Centre/Kindergarten, submit the application form and you will be invited to a MELS Monthly Educational Business Venture Meeting in KL.

• Upon confirmation, the licensee is to make an upfront payment of RM16,000.

• The licensor (MELS) will collect a management fee of RM300 per month (if the number of student is less than 6) or RM50 per child (if the number of students is more than 6).

• You will need to choose a location before submitting your application. The management of E-Learn Dot Com will evaluate the location based on:(a) address, (b) size, (c) rental per month, (d) date of availability

• MELS will provide training for you and your teachers. MELS will provide training for your teachers twice a year, available in various locations. Business and operational training will be conducted in KL once a year.

• MELS will provide continuing operations support to the Licensees. MELS will provide an operation manual and other materials; regular visits to each licensed outlet to render on-site assistance, on-going training, guidance and support.

• One of the partners/shareholders has to be appointed to operate the centre of the licensed business.

• Once your application has been approved, you will be granted a provisional license for one year. A provisional license is yellow and indicates that the programme has been granted. The license of a kindergarten/Learning Centre must be displayed where all parents and visitors can see it. Dates of issue and expiry are shown on the license. A regular license is on white paper.
